Dolby announced that they are soon going to be bringing out Dolby mobile technology that will enhance your sound experience wile listing to music, watching movies and TV programs on your mobile phone.
Dolby Mobile, hailed as an "audio processing technology platform that brings rich, vibrant surround sound to music, movies, and television programs on mobile phones and portable media players," is going to release a application that runs in the background of your phone which will make this all possible.The application will only be a available to Symbian handsets when first released but will most probable expand at a later stage to other hand sets like java.
There are already two mobile phones out that have Dolby called the FOMA SH905i and FOMA SH905iTV but these handsets are only available in Japan.
So if you are a gadget guru that loves top notch sound then just wait a few months until they release this awesome technology for your next upgrade.
