They are available in 40, 60, and 80GB storage capacity. Take note though that the bigger the capacity the heavier will the unit be so there comes a trade off between portability and storage.

Dolby announces mobile phone

Dolby announced that they are soon going to be bringing out Dolby mobile technology that will enhance your sound experience wile listing to music, watching movies and TV programs on your mobile phone.

Dolby Mobile, hailed as an "audio processing technology platform that brings rich, vibrant surround sound to music, movies, and television programs on mobile phones and portable media players," is going to release a application that runs in the background of your phone which will make this all possible.The application will only be a available to Symbian handsets when first released but will most probable expand at a later stage to other hand sets like java.


There are already two mobile phones out that have Dolby called the FOMA SH905i and FOMA SH905iTV but these handsets are only available in Japan.
So if you are a gadget guru that loves top notch sound then just wait a few months until they release this awesome technology for your next upgrade.

PC for $99 and it looks awsome.

A company called shuttle has launched a pc for $99,this move comes after other pc company’s like asus have built super cheep pc’s and notebooks for the users that don’t need all that power that some of us do.
This cheap pc is called the “KPC shuttle” and is barebone which means you will have to buy only the ram, hard drive and the CPU for it to be fully functional. The KPC is also very small it is only 11(L)x7.5(W)x6.7(H) Inch and is very stylish.

You can customize the image on the front of the KPC as well so it fits into your design of your room.

This inexpensive pc looks hot and I think it would be worth the price but since you still have to buy the ram, hard drive and CPU I find it a waste of money unless you want it for the looks.

Apple istick:The next ipod shuffle

This stylish gadget called the istick is shaped like a cubed lipstick tube and has no buttons built into it.

The istick (designed by Alexei Mikhailov) has four screens situated on each side of the gadget, one or more of these screens is touch sensitive so that you can navigate around the devise. The istick has built in wifi so that you can download music straight off the internet vie itunes.

Unfortunately this devise will not be able to play back videos or view pictures due to the small screen size, it is however believed that the istick might be the next iPod shuffle.


At this point of time there is no evidence that apple ipod are going to proceed with this stylish and cleverly thought out gadget but if they do I for one will be buying one.

Toshiba ApriPoko Robot

Toshiba have built a robot called ApriPoko. This robot sits in your entertainment room and is voice operated. The ApriPoko is a universal remote which does not need to be programmed, instead this robot will wait until you use your remote control for your TV/ DVD player/ VCR/ PVR/ Satellite dish/ hifi or any other remote that uses IR censors and will then ask you what remote you were using or what function you had pressed on the remote. The ApriPoko will then store all the information and next time you want to access that function all you have to do is tell the robot to do so, the ApriPoko will then send out the IR signal and your function will be completed for example turning on and off the TV.

The ApriPoko Robot from Toshiba weighs 2.3 kilograms and also has a built in camera so that it can identify the user.


If you are a couch bum or if you can never find your remotes then this is the gadget for you, this gadget will save you time and money because you will no longer have to buy batteries for your remotes.

The Robot is still in testing stage so you have more than enough time to start saving, Toshiba are hoping to release this gadget soon.

A PC on your finger

A company called NEC has created a pc that fits on your finger. This amazing gadget is called the AXES, the AXES is a small pc that is fitted onto a ring. This Gadget is round and displays keywords and small pictures in the screen, to use this gadget all you need to do is twist the round devise on the side of the ring which will let you navigate around the pc applications and even the internet.
